Summer Parking
Free parking is in effect between May 28 to August 13, 2022 in the Downtown College Park Parking Garage! Park there for free while you visit local shops and restaurants on weekdays after 5pm and all-day on weekends.
Department of Public Works Products Available for Purchase
The following items are on display and are available to purchase and pick up Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. at Davis Hall - 9217 51st Avenue, College Park. For more information call 301-487-3590 or email publicworks@collegeparkmd.gov. Click below for more information:
- Rain Barrels - $80
- Yard Waste Carts - $30 for City residents
- Backyard Compost Bins - $20 for City residents and $40 for non-residents
- GAT Mosquito Traps - SOLD OUT
- Fresh Wood chips - Due to the recent storm, we have fresh wood chips (not mulch) available for free to use on trails, pathways, and well-established planting areas. Fresh wood chips can deplete nitrogen from the soil, so don’t use them on new plantings. Call for availability 240-487-3590.
