A New City Hall
The City and University held a groundbreaking event for the City Hall project on Friday, February 14, 2020 to kick off the City Hall project. Mayor Patrick Wojahn kicked off the event with his remarks, followed by University President Wallace Loh, Senator Jim Rosapepe, County Councilmember Dannielle Glaros and Terrapin Development Corporation President Ken Ulman. After speeches were made, Mayor and City Council kicked off the project with a ceremonial dig. City Hall is slated for a grand opening in late summer 2021. Demolition on the old building began on February 26, 2020. Watch the project's progress here.
