An Ordinance of the Mayor and Council of the City of College Park to Adopt the Fiscal Year 2023 General Fund, ARPA Allocation Fund, Capital Projects Fund and Debt Service Fund Budgets of the City Of College Park. Budget Ordinance 22-O-05 incorporates the FY2023 Proposed Budgets for the City’s General Fund, ARPA Allocation Fund, Capital Projects Fund and Debt Service Fund. The Mayor and Council will hold a Public Hearing on this Ordinance on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. during the regular Mayor and Council meeting. You may attend the meeting in person at 7401 Baltimore Avenue, 2nd Floor Council Chambers, College Park, MD 20740, or use the virtual Zoom platform. Public Hearing on the establishment of Permit Restricted Parking on Cherokee Street for residents of the Lennar Townhomes
The Mayor and Council will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. during the regular Council meeting on the proposal to implement a new residential permit parking zone for townhouse residents in the 4700 block of Cherokee Street. If approved by Council, the new permit area would be created on Cherokee Street specifically for the residents of the Lennar townhomes, and would be enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A limit of 2 permits per address and 2 visitor passes would be provided for use on a first-come, first-served basis, due to the limited availability of on-street parking.
If you are unable to participate in the meetings, you may submit written comment prior to the Public Hearing. In order to be received by the Council as part of the record, the comment must include the specific topic to which it relates and the full name and address of the person submitting the comment. Written comment should be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. on the day of the hearing to cpmc@collegeparkmd.gov.
