Maryland 2000

For the month of July, Baltimore Animal Welfare Alliance (BAWA) Shelters along with participating animal shelters across the state of Maryland will be waiving adoption fees for felines with the collective goal of finding homes for at least 2,000 cats and kittens across the state.

The City of College Park's Animal Control will be participating in this program in conjunction with our adoption partner - Beltsville Petco. All felines adopted through the College Park Animal Control program qualify! The City adoption fee is normally $150, but through the month of July that fee is waived! This is the perfect time to add a new member to your family! All felines will have all their age appropriate vet work completed before adoption.

You can adopt kittens like the Three Stooges triplets - Larry, Curly and Mo and Razzle & Dazzle (above), or adult cats like Chabi (right) to add to your family. For a listing and descriptions of the felines available, see below, click here or visit the Beltsville Petco.
