Fourth of July Concert & Fireworks

The City of College Park and the University of Maryland are once again breaking out the red, white and blue for a fabulous Independence Day celebration! A FREE concert and fireworks spectacular are on tap for Thursday, July 4, 2019 at the University of Maryland Campus in Parking Lot 1 adjacent to Campus Drive. NightLife will entertain from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. followed by a 30 minute Fireworks Extravaganza at dusk! Fun for all ages!

Concessions open at 5:00 p.m. offering hamburgers, hot dogs, funnel cakes, ice cream, snow cones, soda and bottled water. Grass seating is limited, so bring your lawn chairs and blankets. Personal coolers are also allowed, but alcohol is not permitted. If you're thinking of bringing your pets to this event...Think again! Loud noises, flashing lights and large crowds can have traumatic effects on your pets. Let's do our best to keep them safe by leaving them at home. In case of storm or the sounding of the weather warning siren, guests should seek shelter as directed by the University of Maryland Police Department. Fresh produce, wonderful crafts, local vendors, great food - visit our two Farmers Markets every weekend!
Come to our Hollywood Farmers Market in the Hollywood Shopping Center (near MOM's) every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and our Downtown College Park Farmers Market by City Hall every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.!
First Thirsty Thursday

Join the City/University Community every FIRST Thursday (of most months) for 1st Thirsty Thursday! Eat, drink and have laughs with colleagues and neighbors! This event is appropriate for children of all ages (1 to 101). You may even win some College Park swag!
This month's event will be held at MilkBoy Arthouse (7416 Baltimore Avenue).

Join your friends, neighbors and the entire College Park community at the 10th Annual College Park Day Festival on Saturday, October 5 at the College Park Aviation Museum (1985 Corporal Frank Scott Drive).
This FREE event is fun for the whole family with live music, awesome kids zones, delicious food and drink, live performances, exhibitors and so much more! Plus free museum entry during the event!
