Love to decorate for the holidays? Feel like Clark W. Griswold's light display has nothing on yours? Have more inflatables outside than you can count? Well, get out all your bulbs, bows, deer and inflatable snow-globes, because the City's Deck the City Holiday Decorating Contest is happening this December.

Nominations end on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at 9:00 p.m. All entries must be received by then. Nominations can be made online, via phone or dropped off at City Hall (8400 Baltimore Avenue Suite 375).

New this Year - Resident Judging!
Online judging will be held from Tuesday, December 17 through Thursday, December 19, 2019. Residents may vote for their favorite decorations per district at www.collegeparkmd.gov/deckthecity or by phone. One vote per person.

2019 Contest Rules
- Contest is open to residential addresses within the City of College Park only.
- Nominations will be accepted beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2019. Each person can submit more than one entry for nomination.
- Entries must be received by 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 15, 2019.
- Entries will be accepted via the City website, email, mail, in-person (City Hall only), or by telephone. Incomplete entries may not be accepted.
- Online judging will be held from Tuesday, December 17 through Thursday, December 19, 2019. Residents may vote for their favorite decorations per district at www.collegeparkmd.gov/deckthecity or by phone. One vote per person.
- Prizes will be awarded for the three winners in each of the City’s four districts (twelve winners total).
- Winning homes will be announced on Friday, December 20.
- Photos of winning homes will be posted on the City’s website, social media (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram), Municipal Scene and possibly other City channels.
