College Park Day

It's the event's 10th anniversary, and this year's College Park Day will be bigger and better than before!

It's our Favorite Day of the Year!

The City's 10th annual College Park Day is almost here! We have a lot of fun and amazing things in store for you this year, so make sure you come out!

Join family, friends, neighbors and the whole College Park community as we celebrate what makes our City so special.

This year's free event is jammed packed with awesome live music, exciting performances, a gigantic kids fun zone with bounce houses, a taste of College Park's local food and restaurants, a helicopter fly-in, meet and greet local public safety and flight personnel, lots of arts and crafts, face painting... the list goes on and on!

How it All Began...

In 2009, a College Park resident lamented in a blog post that while there were many events in College Park, very few had activities showcasing the City and what it and its residents had to offer. Two City councilmembers agreed and plans began for a new event to celebrate the community.

With the help of City officials and residents, the very first College Park Day was planned in 2010 to highlight the people, businesses and community groups that call the City home.

Since the inaugural College Park day, the event has grown from drawing hundreds of local residents to now thousands. Every year, the event includes more fun activities and offerings, and this year is no different - it's already shaping up to be the best one yet!
