An Ordinance Of The Mayor And Council Of The City Of College Park To Adopt The Fiscal Year 2025 General Fund, ARPA Allocation Fund, Capital Projects Fund And Debt Service Fund Budgets Of The City Of College Park
1. Revised FY2025 Proposed General Fund Budget and summary of changes to the original General Fund Budget as published March 8, 2024, and presented at the budget Worksession March 23, 2024.
2. Copy of advertisement required by SDAT for proposed property tax rate increase.
3. FY2025 Proposed Budgets for the ARPA Allocation Fund, Debt Service Fund, and CIP/Capital Projects Fund.

Public Hearing on Traffic Calming in the 4900 Block of Iroquois Street
The Mayor and Council of the City of College Park will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. to take public comment on the petition request to install a traffic calming device (speed hump) in the 4900 block of Iroquois Street between 49th Avenue and west of Rhode Island Avenue. All interested parties shall have an opportunity to be heard. After the Public Hearing, the Mayor and Council may take action on the request.
Following the receipt of the petition request, the City Engineer’s office conducted a traffic study. His report can be found on the City’s web site at www.collegeparkmd.gov. Click on “Public Hearing Notice.” The report is also available from the City Clerk’s office.
The Mayor and Council of the City of College Park will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. to take public comment and possible action on the recommendations for roadway design improvements in the 7200 block Rhode Island Avenue. All interested parties shall have an opportunity to be heard. After the Public Hearing, the Mayor and Council may take action on the request.
Following a request by the City Council, the City Engineer’s office conducted a traffic study along the 7200 block of Rhode Island Avenue between Calvert Road and Guilford Road. A Public Hearing was held on September 5, 2023. The council referred the matter to the Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee and City Engineer and returned to a public meeting with their recommendations. The staff report with the recommendations can be found on the City’s web site at www.collegeparkmd.gov. Click on “Public Hearing Notice.” The report is also available from the City Clerk’s office.
Mayor and Council meetings are “hybrid”, meaning you can participate either in-person at City Hall, or virtually over Zoom.
