Election Judges Needed

Apply to be an Election Judge for the City Election on Sunday, November 7

Election Judges wanted for the poll on Election Day, Sunday, November 7. Polls are open from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Judges are asked to report at 8:00 a.m. and must remain until procedures are completed, estimated to be about 7:00 p.m.

Location: College Park Community Center, 5051 Pierce Avenue.

Judges are paid $200 for the day and a light meal is provided. You must work the entire day. To serve, you must be a registered voter in the state of Maryland and have no affiliation with a candidate for City elective office. Proof of COVID vaccine will be required. Preference will be given to individuals with experience working a County, State or City election. Bi-lingual applicants are encouraged to apply.

COVID precautions will be taken at the poll: • The number of people allowed in the polling location at any one time will be limited to COVID capacity limits to ensure social distancing; • Judges must show proof of COVID vaccine; • Masks for staff and for voters will be required at all times; • Hand sanitizer and cleaning of high-contact surfaces will be provided.
