Ordinance 22-O-05

An Ordinance of the Mayor and Council of the City of College Park to Adopt the Fiscal Year 2023 General Fund, ARPA Allocation Fund, Capital Projects Fund and Debt Service Fund Budgets of the City Of College Park. Notice of Adoption Fair Summary

Ordinance 21-O-09

Ordinance 21-O-09 was introduced at a Regular Meeting on July 20, 2021 and a Public Hearing was held on August 10, 2021. The Ordinance was then amended and adopted on May 10, 2022, and will become effective July 1, 2022. Notice of Outcome

The Mayor and Council held a Public Hearing on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 on the proposal to implement a new residential permit parking zone on the south side of the 4700 block of Cherokee Street for the residents of the Lennar townhouses. Following the Public Hearing, the Mayor and Council approved the implementation of permit restricted parking on the south side of the 4700 block of Cherokee Street, for the exclusive use of residents of the Lennar townhouses. Parking will be restricted by permit only 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with a limit of 2 permits per address, and 2 visitor passes per address, for occasional use. The zone will be reassessed at least annually to determine continued need. The City’s Parking Enforcement Division will contact the residents of the Lennar townhouses with further information about the Residential Permit Restricted Parking program and provide instructions on how the implementation will proceed. In order to be received by the Council as part of the record, the comment must include the specific topic to which it relates and the full name and address of the person submitting the comment. Written comment should be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. on the day of the hearing to cpmc@collegeparkmd.gov.
